Ice Porter™ passes Windows Client and Windows Managed Code Platform Tests

 

Washington, DC - January 03, 2008 - Ice Tea Group (ITG) is pleased to announce that Ice Porter™, ITG's automated tool for the migration of software based on Gupta technology to Microsoft .NET,  passed the Windows Client and Manged Code platform tests. Passing the platform tests allowed Ice Tea Group to become a Microsoft Certified Partner with the ISV Solutions competency.

 

As a Microsoft Certified Partner, Ice Tea Group will also join the NXT Program in the US as a Delivery Partner and start offering a variety of options to US-based ISVs that seek to migrate their software systems from Gupta Team Developer, a 4GL from the '90s used by many corporations worldwide, to Microsoft .NET and Visual Studio.

 

Ice Porter™ is licensed to ITG's Premium Partners that offer migration services as part of The Porting Project™, ITG's global migration effort, and to companies that have a requirement to perform the conversion project in-house.
